David Brooks on the "Fiscal Flop"
One of the curses of having to write two columns a week is that you end up writing a lot of junk to fill up space. No columnist is immune to that problem, including the very smart David Brooks. What separates Brooks from others, however, is that when he really puts his (non-partisan) brain into a column, he's the most sensible and clear-headed pundit we have.
